Heard lots people said beautiful Lombok and I always want to visit Lombok.
Unfortunately early this month, Lombok encountered massive earthquakes. More than 600,000 people have been affected by a series of massive earthquakes on the island of Lombok, Indonesia, in the span of less than two weeks.
Indonesian Red Cross staff and volunteers have been quick to respond, with teams providing first aid, emergency shelter, assistance with evacuations and meeting basic humanitarian needs.
Australian Red Cross is supporting an international emergency appeal to assist relief and recovery work. Our donation will help provide humanitarian support to people and communities affected by these devastating earthquakes.
Funds raised will help Red Cross provide humanitarian support to people and communities affected by Indonesian Earthquakes 2018. That support may include:
emergency relief and recovery assistance such as food, water, sanitation, shelter and health initiatives including blood
sending specialist aid workers to assist in initial assessment, relief, recovery and disaster and crisis management operations
working in affected areas to strengthen local resilience and deliver effective relief and recovery services.
